1.2.1 HR Development

Personal development

In KBA-Grafitec you can count with attractive opportunities for personal development that will really drive you forward. To ensure your proper induction, you will have a professional mentor assisting you during your training. Depending on the requirements of individual positions, this phase can last from one to three months. During this adaptation period, all new employees are trained in their individual tasks. Your induction training plan and other corporate education will ensure your further career development. Careers in KBA-Grafitec are versatile. For example, when desired or needed, there is no problem to cross over from the production department to machine programming.

We devote time to every single person at quarterly intervals to both evaluate their performance and gain 360° feedback.

With us, you will also get experience in an international environment. You can take an advantage of our exchange programs to become familiar with our head office in Germany. Our customer service, communications and sales activities are controlled from there. In our language courses, you can prepare yourself for a next career step. You will learn how to speak not only in German, English, but also in Spanish or Hebrew. We offer a global outlook in our organization.

1.2.2 Reconciling work and family life

Work-Life Balance

As a family-oriented employer, we understand the needs of our employees. This is the reason why, KBA-Grafitec set up a company kindergarten located near the workplace. We also offer financial support for summer and winter recreations – sports holidays for the children of our employees. We offer flexible working hours for administrative positions and an individual approach in shift assignments in production. Our employees mostly work using a one-shift model within a 40-hour workweek. Weekend work is paid in addition to statutory wages.

You will have a time for a visit of our company canteen. You have the choice of three different dishes that are freshly prepared every day. No matter which shift you are currently on. You will find something in our canteen according to your taste at any time of day or night.

1.2.3 Reward system

Rewards

Employees have the greatest value for us. That is why KBA-Grafitec pays attractive salaries. This was confirmed by an independent study of salaries made in January 2017. All our employees receive an extra week of vacation per calendar year in addition to the legally mandated 4 weeks. In this way we try to support our colleagues on a shift cycle and offer them compensation for their arduous work.
